David Willard, son of Jonathan and Abigail (Younglove) Willard was born on July 19, 1741 in Sheffield, MA.[1][2]

David married twice:
(1) Martha Sherlock - they had several children
- Sarah Willard, b. 17 Sept 1769, m. Willam Barnes on 12 Oct 1794
- Abigail Willard, b. 12 Feb 1793, m. Robert Dewey
- David Willard, b. 29 Jan 1775
- Betsey Willard, b. 27 Dec 1776, m. Jared Foster
- Anna Martha Willard, b. 5 Jan 1779, m. Ladwick Hotchkiss
- Samuel Willard, b. 12 Oct 1780
- Grover Willard, b. 5 Mar 1783
- Daniel Willard, b. 28 Mar 1785
- Marcus Salenus Willard, b. 12 Kul 1788

David had a farm at Great Barrington..
He served in the Ware of the Revolution in 1777 and 1781..
He move toHartwick, Otsego County in about 1790..
He was a deacon in the Presbyterian Church..
He died on April 18, 1818.
