My interest in genealogy comes from my father, Jed, and Great Aunt, Marvel who were both interested in the Willhite family. I currently reside in Utah.

Thank you for sharing the photo of Herman Johnson Sr.
I'm not kin to him, but my half-sisiter is.
I'll have to look through other relations and see if you added any other photos that she may be interested in.
Appreciate you!
A few weeks back I sent an email requesting access to a living person that past away last year. Can you give me access to my granduncle Hoyt Wendell Wilhite.
I've sent you a couple of messages now about the Brownlow Name Study. Did you receive them? If not, please do reach out to me as there are a couple of things I'd like to discuss with you.
Sincerely,

MRCA 4.5 generations back per GEDMATCH. Any idea who it is?? Nelson va-sc? Harrington? Watts? Forbes? Johnston (Va or Scotland to Onslow, NC to Newberry,SC line of Thomas Johnston Jr. B.1720) Richardson? Daniel?
Any of these surnames ring a bell? Our common matches are Harrington's, Neilson's, and Johnson's for sure on GED common matches.
Update: "You and kkaze03
4th – 6th Cousin is our top match" on ancestry. I share Watts, Newsome, and Hollingsworth dna with this individual that is our strongest common match. I may have Pettis/Pettus links with this common match as well.

From the changes tab, it looks like you started this category. Would you happen to know of either a book or an on-line source that lists who is buried there? If not, I'll call the church.
Catherine Thank you so much for all the Wilhoits you edited!!. And the great photos. I have some photos, but some I do not know their names. Great job, Margie Pappaioanou.

Hi Catherine, I just wanted to say "Congratulations" on becoming one of the newest Blue Badged "Generous Genealogist", Your assistance to family members by offering information on their relatives has been noticed and appreciated by others. You made someone's day!! Way to Go!!
2 John Pattersons -- think your/our John Patterson is the one who died and was buried in Gas City in 1838. Nancy Patterson is also buried there. He could not be a County Commissioner in 1846 in Preble Co., Ohio. However, I think the Pattersons or Kirkhams were with the McKinstrys in Kentucky prior to coming to Ohio.

Thank you, B.
The church is still closed secondary to Covid-19
