Biography

Eliza Williams was the second listed child of Eleazer Williams and Mary Billings of Stonington, Connecticut. Her birth date listed herein, Oct. 28, 1789, derives from only the Wheeler (1900) History of Stonington, which date is uncertain in view of gestational conflicts and probable date errors for some of her siblings. Should credible data arise from other sources to verify this, as well as her siblings' birth dates, their profiles should be edited accordingly.

Eliza Williams married 14 Mar 1809 at Stonington, Connecticut, Ethan A. Denison. They had at least 3 children. This family lived in Stonington on the Rev. Mr. Rossiter's farm, inherited from Ethan's father.
