William Wilhelm Williams[1] was born in Tennessee and married Rachel W Berry April 1, 1830, in Greenfield Township, Orange County, Indiana. Rachel was born November 17, 1814, in Kentucky. They moved to Scott County, Arkansas, in 1840 and then moved to Liberty Hill, Texas, in 1851. They had nine children: Judah (b. Mar 28, 1831, d. Aug 24, 1832), Lewis (b. Feb 9, 1834, d. Aug 11, 1899), Samuel (b. Oct 31, 1837, d. Oct 15, 1839), John W. Williams (b. Dec 3, 1839, d. Sep 4, 1862 in the Civil War), William Williams, Jr. (b. Sep 18, 1842, d. Sep 6, 1845), Susanna (Brown) (b. Nov 21, 1843, d. Apr 18, 1925), Mary "Polly" (Miller) (b. Aug 29, 1846, d. Apr 16, 1869), James (b. Aug 4, 1849 , d. ?), Elizabeth (Simmons) (b. May 3, 1851). Williams-Buck Cemetery, Williamson County, Texas. William died February 2, 1894, and Rachel died July 9, 1871.
