William Williams, of the Wesleyan Church, Sandhurst (Victoria), has received informtion of his election as fellow of the Linnean Society of London. The Rev. Mr. Williams is a son of Mr. Solomon Williams, of this town. Those who are acquainted with him and his scientific works will acknowledge that the honour is well bestowed. Besides original articles on scientific subjects he is the writer of much interesting matter with which he supplies the Spectator and other journals. Mr. Williams was formerly a pupil of Mr. (now Dr.) J. R Stephens, who, we are sure, is gratified to hear of the success attending him.
