I, W. S. Thomas, Clerk Superior Court, for Richmond County, do hereby certify, that the foregoing Will is a true and perfect copy of the original, as it appears on record in the office and recorded in Book 1, page 4 and 5.

I believe the Susannah Williams who married Nicholas Stone was the sister of Col Edward Williams. Susannah Williams m Nicholas Stone 19 apr 1780 and Col Edward Williams wrote his will 19 yrs later while both women were married to their husbands. and Based on that her signature as a witness on the Will of George Jefferson Jan 1780 and again in Court Mar 1780 along with a 2nd Susannah Williams signature (his wife) and proposed sister, married Nicholas Stone 19 Apr 1780. Two Susannah Williams sign oaths and two Susannah Williams witnessed the will.

Also Nicholas Stone is a witness to the Will of Edward Stone 20 May 1799, while Edward Williams names his wife as Susannah Williams in that will and she is in court documents through 1815 regarding his estate. Susannah Williams and Nicholas Stone are having children at the same time as Edward Williams and his wife Susannah.
