On her findagrave.com memorial there is document image from the Library of Virginia online [2] which discusses the last Will of John Williams (d: 1772 Brunswick County, Virginia) including passages detailing family connections and indicating that this John Williams' daughter Amy was married to Reuben Nance. This seems to prove that Reuben Nance's wife was certainly Amy Williams, daughter of John Williams, and not Amy Williamson.

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Amy by comparing test results with other carriers of her mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
