Hannah was born about 1647; her date of birth is estimated based on her marriage in 1667.[1] Her place of birth is unknown. Her father was first a resident of Plymouth, then was in "Eastham by 1649" when he was surveyor of highways.[2] In the absence of other records, either Plymouth or Eastham is possible.
She married first 24 May 1667 at Eastham[3] to John Smith. He died and his inventory was published Feb 1678/9.
She married second, as his second wife, Thomas Mulford of Eastham. Their marriage date is unknown, but before she was named in her father's 1692 will as Hannah Mulford. The fact that Thomas Williams named Hannah's children from her first marriage and no Mulford children suggests that all of Thomas Mulford's children were with his first wife.[4]
