Thomas Williams was born around 1725, probably in Boston, Massachusetts; his father may have been Thomas Williams, who arrived in Boston from England on 18 February 1717 and went on to become one of the first permanent settlers in Bath (then Georgetown, Maine)[1].
He married Margaret Drummond in 1746 in Georgetown, Maine. They had twelve children[2]:
1. Mary, born 29 Jun 1747; died young
2. Margaret, born 11 Apr 1749; died young
3. Nancy (Ann), born 15 Jul 1751; died young
4. James, born 22 Jul 1753; married Martha Drummond
5. John, born 4 Nov 1756

9. Frances, born 1763; married Jeremiah Clifford
11. Susanna, born 1766

Thomas's date of death is uncertain, but author Josiah Drummond notes that he died in Georgetown.
