Ebenezer Williams was born 21 Apr 1685 Taunton, Bristol, Massachusetts son of Joseph Williams[1][2]
Ebenezer Williams. b. Apr. 21, 1685; m. Jan. 8, 1713[3]. Judith King. She m. 2nd, Ebenezer Robinson. [4]
Death
Ebenezer Williams of Taunton passed away after he wrote his will on 8 Sep 1727 and before it was probated on 13 Apr 1728.[5]
Will
His will mentions widow Judith Williams and brother Richard Williams. In the event of widow Judith's death, Ebenezer's dwelling and land was to pass to the youngest son of brother Richard and then to his descendants. This provision of his will indicates Ebenezer had no living heirs after his widow.[5][6]
Research Notes
Disputed Date of Death: A previous version of this profile reported his death on 10 Jan 1757 without a source citation. It's possible this date was taken from the Find-a-Grave profile of Deacon Benjamin Williams who allegedly died 10 Jan 1757 in Mansfield, Bristol County, Massachusetts.[7] The 10 Jan 1757 date has been deleted from this profile until further research is completed.
Disputed Daughter: A previous version of this profile included Anna (Williams) Cobb (abt.1720-1759) as Ebenezer's daughter. This match is at odds with his will which makes no mention of any living children.[5] Anna has been removed as his daughter until additional research is provided.
