Josie P Williams was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Civil Districts 15, 18, Carroll County, Tennessee for the June 4, United States Census, 1900. She was noted as born March 1885 in Tennessee and single. Also included in the household are head Geo S Williams, son James B Williams, son Newsom L Williams, daughter Laura F Williams, daughter Hester V Williams, son George E Williams and son Clarence B Williams as seen in an image of the original census.^[1]

Josie Williams was enumerated as daughter of the head of household in Bemis, Madison County, Tennessee for the April 16, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1886 in Tennessee and single. She was a weaver at a cotton mill as seen in the image of the original census. Also included in the household are head George S Williams, wife Lou Williams, daughter Ester Williams, son Ephraham Williams, son Benjamine Williams, son Lewis Williams, daughter Ophelia Williams and boarder Earnest Kelly.^[2]

Lou Williams was enumerated as wife of the head of household in Bemis, Madison County, Tennessee for the April 16, United States Census, 1910. She was noted as born 1874 in Tennessee and had been married six years. She was the mother of two children of which both were still living as seen in the image of the original census. Also

Josephine "Josie" Williams Presson is buried at Hollywood Cemetery in Jackson, Madison County, Tennessee.^[3]
