Sydney was killed in an accident while a medical student at Edinburgh Universitty.

In last evening’s issue was recorded the death at Edinburgh of Mr. Sydney Leonard Williams, son of the Ven. Archdeacon Williams. The deceased was a student of Christ’s College, Christchurch. He left New Zealand in February 1886 for the Old Country and entered as a medical student at Edinburgh University where he passed his examinations in due course. Great sympathy will be felt for the family in their sad bereavement.
