Amos was born in 1930. He was the son of Hazael Williams and Lillie Atkinson. The family was living in Blountstown, Calhoun County, Florida in 1940.[1]
Amos married Betty Mae Stephens on 21 May 1949 in Calhoun County, Florida.[2] They divorced in 1950.[3]
When his father passed away in 1969, the obituary stated Amos was from Ontario, California.[4]
He appears to have married a woman named Thelma as there is a divorce record from 1983.[5]
