He married Eleanor Booth. By 1850, the couple was living in Bethel, Branch County, Michigan.[1] By 1860, the family had moved and was living in Gilead, Branch County, Michigan.[2] They were still in Gilead in 1870[3] and in 1880.[4] By 1880, Elisha was widowed and living in his son Elisha's household.
