He was born about 1775 in Virginia.

Jonas "Jonah" Williams, Jr. first married on 06 Apr 1791 in Fauquier County, Virginia, USA to Elizabeth "Betsey" Guy [1] and they had at least two sons,

By 1811 he had moved to Morgan County, Georgia, USA. [2]

During the War of 1812, he served in Regtiment#2 (Thomas') Georgia Militia. [3]

His wife died soon after the 1820 census [4] and he moved to Montgomery County, Alabama, USA.

Jonas "Jonah" Williams, Jr. married secondly on 24 Oct 1822 in Montgomery County, Alabama, USA to Charlotte Butler, [5] daughter of Priscilla (Cobb) and William I. Butler. The couple had 3 daughters between 1826 and 1835. [6]

He passed away about 1837 in Montgomery County, Alabama, USA.
