MRS. POLA SOUDERS ROGERS - Mrs. Pola Souders, 73, widow of William Souders of Rogers, died Wednesday at 3:40 a.m. in Youngstown City hospital following a few days illness. Mrs. Souders was born Jan. 28, 1869, in Fort Wayne, Ind., a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Williams. She was married in 1890. Mr. Souders died April 16, 1937. Mrs. Souders was a member of the Clarkson Presbyterian church and the Ladies Aid society. She leaves six daughters, Mrs. Nana Vale, Mrs. Frances Galbreath and Mrs. Evelyn Rowe of Rogers, Mrs. Nellie Caldwell of New Waterford, Mrs. Eleanor Ginther of Coraopolis, Pa., and Mrs. Bessie Gleichauf of Youngstown; two sons, George Souders and John Souders of Rogers; three brothers, Harry Williams and Grover Williams of Rogers and L.T. Williams of New Waterford; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Pike of Rogers, and 12 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. in the home by Rev. W.J. Snyder, pastor of the Clarkson church, and Rev. H.L. Rickert, former pastor. Burial will be in the East Carmel cemetery. The body was brought Wednesday night from the Warrick funeral home in Columbiana to the late home here, where friends may call.
