Maybe you have some historically-significant ancestors? Participation in a project is strongly encouraged for those wishing to edit Pre-1700 profiles. I became interested in genealogy when my husband and I were talking about family lines and he did not know anyone past his paternal grandparents. He is a direct descendant of Anthony mullins/antonio Molina who immigrated from Italy. My family name is Williams but I am also a member of the blocker/barnhill/smithson/carlisle/davenport and extensive families. It is the Mullins side that I am most interested in and have quite a bit of information compiled already. I am willing to share what I have and welcome corrections when needed

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.
