Catharine Agnes Williams was born probably in Massachusetts. She married William Perry (Parry) U.E. about 1764, probably in New York or Massachusetts. Children (biological is uncertain): John, William, Elizabeth, Sarah, Peter, Esther. She died about 1806 in Ontario, Canada, based on the fact that her children sold her farm in that year.
We know for sure that Catherine Agnes Williams was the mother of Esther, baptized march 10 1791, as she is listed as the mother at Esther's baptism, but she is in no other record listed as the birth mother of any of the other children. Given the disparity in the ages of William's children (the eldest, John, born about 1765, being 26 years older than the youngest, Esther, it seems likely that Catherine Agnes Williams was William's second or maybe even third wife, probably not, at any rate, the mother of all the children. The biological mother of the older children remains unknown. [1]
This Catherine Agnes Williams was not the daughter of Jeremiah and Catherine Payson. Their daughter married Thomas Mayo and died 1819. [2]
