David was born about 1820 in Brecnockshire, Wales. [1]
David was a saddler by trade.
In February 1846, a marriage notice ran in the Hereford Times, in Hastings, Sussex of David's intent to marry. [2] The following month, a marriage notice was placed in the Worcestershire Chronicle. [3]
In March 1846, David married Frances Stokes, daughter of John Stokes, of Worcestershire, England. The marriage was registered in Brecknock, Brecknockshire, Wales. [4]
In 1871, David was living with his wife, four daughters and one son, in Swansea, Glamorganshire. [1] David was occupied as a saddler.
In 1881, David and his family were living in Singleton Street, Swansea, Glamorganshire. He was 60-years-old. His daughter, Emma, had married and she and her husband were living with David and his wife. Their youngest daughter, Annie (16), was also still in the household. [5]
David passed away in 1897. He was 77-years-old. His death was registered in Pontyprydd, Glamorganshire. [6]
