According to Sherman, Jacob married Martha Belding, d/o Ebenezer Belding, June 24, 14. However, she died at the age of 23 on March 29, 1716. His second marriage was to Eunice Standish, d/o Thomas and Mary Church, on July 29, 1719.

Aug, 24, 1724; m. Christian Higgins, v. Christian, b. Sept. 16, 1726; m. Levi Smith, vi. Moses, b. Sept. 21, 1729, vii. Sarah, b. Sept. 10, 1751, vii. Isreal, b. Nov. 1733, viii. Jerusha, b. 1736; m. Jona. Deming, ix. Daniel, who was perhaps the Daniel who died Aug. 30, 1810 in his 36th year.
