- I have not been able to find the family in 1870. Charlotte said to have died in 1869; perhaps Arthur was dead also. The Ancestry FamilyTree showed these children for Authur and Charlotte: Elias Jefferson, b. 1852, d. 1942. Sarah Elizabeth, b. 1856, d. 1932. Martha L., b. 1858, d. 1943; Ambrose, b. 1863.
- Note: Elias Jefferson might have been living with the family of Charlotte's sister Lucinda & her husband John Webb in 1870. There is a 17 year old Jefferson in their household.
