Thanks for taking responsibility for Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need from their profile managers. One quick way to find the profiles you adopted is by searching your Contributions List for the word "adopted" and "manager." You can find a quick link to your Contributions List in the My WikiTree dropdown menu.
Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Hello Ted, thank you for thanking me for my previous comment. Although mistakes are inevitable, you have since created many more unsourced profiles, including another duplicate unsourced profile for a Bolling family member (the family is under the management of the England Project). Please check that the person you wish to create does not already exist - this can be done by entering their name in the person search box at the top of any profile page and creating a list of profiles with that name to compare. Here is the England Project's page of guidance to reliable sources for sourcing the profiles which you have already created. Please feel free to contact me directly for further information.
Hi Ted - pre-1700 profiles need to have proper sources, not "ancestry.com". I would appreciate it if you would source the English profiles you have created recently before creating any more. I would be happy to direct you to some reliable English sources if you will contact me.
One of our mentors created a tutorial for the GEDCOMpare process that others found very helpful. I hope that you will too.

I'm looking at the profile for Stewart-1001 (King Robert II of Scotland) and notice it has 11 profile managers at present - many more than the maximum 5 recommended in the page Help:Profile_Manager. Given you don't hold a pre-1500 badge, would you have any objection to removing yourself? Apologies if you're planning to get the badge and this is underway. Many thanks
Noticed while "removing USA" during the Cleanathon that relatives of your Cox family from Cople Parish have orphan profiles in need of adoption: Cox-1796, Cox-1679, Cox-1810, Cox-1812, Cox-1825.
And another source to confirm/justify to add Stewart-405 as son of Stewart-3290:

I am new and want to add Jacob Bernheisel 1801 - 1871 as a father to William 1832 - 1912 who is father to Harvey Noll Bernheisel my grandfather's father. I have him on my tree. My name is Susan Tanner, [email address removed]
I an't find the Wiki number to use to merge and I keep loosing the info on Jacob. Help
Hi Ted! I just did a merge with a protected profile (which drops the managers of the non-protected profile). I add back active manager when that happens, but you haven't been active this year. Everything OK? Let me know if you'd like to be added back as a manager of https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Ap_Llewelyn-44 (you're still on his trusted list).
I have posted some information on Bessie FOTHERGILL married Henry TOOMEY.
I know the tree well.
My mother was born FOTHERGILL.
I am in Victoria, Australia

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are usually shared by many descendants, collaborating with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential.
Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).
