Marcy/Mercy Williams was born 7 Nov 1719 at Stonington, Connecticut. She was the fifth child of Desire Denison, the first wife of John Williams of Stonington, Connecticut.

Mercy Williams, d/o John, was baptized June 19, 1720, in Stonington, by Rev. Eliphalit Adams of Christ Ch., New London^[1]

She was married to Thomas Wheeler Feb 7, 1738/9 in Stonington, by Rev Ebenezer Rosseter.^[1]. They had 11 children during the ensuing timeframe through March 1760.

Mercy (Williams) Wheeler was admitted to the Stonington church May 22, 1743 from Christ Church North New London.^[1]
