George Williams was born in Norfolk County, Ontario on June 22, 1877. (His marriage record says that he was born in Lyndoch[1], but his birth was registered Charlotteville[2] [now called Walsh].) He was the son of John H. Williams and Nancy Jane Prasey.
George married Sarah Armstrong in Bayham, Ontario on November 6, 1900[1].
At the time of the 1901 Canada Census, George and Sarah Armstrong were listed as living in Bayham Township, Ontario, along with George's parents, John and Lucy Williams, and his siblings Edward and Lora L. Williams[3]. At the time of the census, George's occupation was listed as "Fisherman".
Death and Burial
George died in 1963, and was buried in Hillcrest Cemetery[4].
