Spouse:Tennessee Elizabeth "Tennie" Carner They were married on Oct 28, 1883 in Caldwell County, Kentucky.

Zachariah and Tennessee were 1st cousins.This is how the link was made Zachariah's father Thomas Edmon Williamson and Tennessee's mother Rebecca Sue Williamson Carner are brother and sister. Then the family link was made again when Zachariah's sister-in-law Mary Helen Carner married into the Williamson family, because Mary Helen Carner Williamson is Tennessee Carner's 1st cousin, Mary Helen's father Friend Carner and Tennessee's father Thomas J. Carner were brothers.

Zachariah's father dies, he and his sister and brother go to live with their Uncle James William "Whispering Bill" Williamson. Their mother,Mary Haas Williamson had remarried and her current husband John Blevin, didn't want them.

Zachariah, in addition to other family members attended White Sulpher Baptist Church in Caldwell, Kentucky. According to the White Sulpher Baptist Church minutes. Zachariah joined the church for baptism on October 4, 1869.

Zachariah is buried at White Sulphur Cemetery, White Sulphur, Caldwell, Kentucky
