In summary, in this author's opinion, based on these sources, it appears Mary Williamson was definitely the daughter of Timothy Williamson and his wife, Mary Howland; the questions appear to be whether Josiah's last name at birth was Slawson, or Closson (or a variation of either), and his parentage, birth and death information:
Mary Williamson was a daughter of Timothy and Mary (Howland) Williamson, born July 7, 1654.[1]
Mary Williamson married Josiah Slawson March 9, 1679.[4]
Mary, daughter of Timothy Williamson, b July 7, 1654 married Josiah Slawson March 12, 1678/9 at Marshfield, Massachusetts. Josiah was a son of Thomas Slawson, born about 1648, probably at Sandwich, Barnstable County, Massachusetts.[7]

Josiah was a soldier in King Philip's War from Woburn, Massachusetts. In 1681 he moved from Marshfield to Little Compton, where he was a constable in 1685.[8]
