Obituary

PORT CHARLOTTE. Fla. — Hazel Williamson Lipford, 92, of Port Charlotte, FL, formerly of War, WV and Frederick, MD, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2015 of natural causes. Born on April 2, 1922 in Coopers, she was a daughter of the late James Lantie and Donnie Maxie Williamson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Lipford as well as 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Left to cherish her memory are: 2 sons: Marvin Lipford of Port Charlotte, FL, Russell Lipford of Cumming, GA; 5 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Sister: Nellie Williamson Harrison of Brooksville, FL. Brother: Lewis Williamson of Bluefield. Private memorial services will be conducted at a later date. Memorial contributions are welcome at Englewood Hospice House, 12034 N. Access Road, Port Charlotte, FL 33981. Information submitted by Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, 3431 Coal Heritage Road (Bluewell), Bluefield, WV.
