Biography
George Williamson was born in 1838 in Newport, East Yorkshire, England, to parents John Williamson and Elizabeth (Garbutt) Williamson. He was baptized in Eastrington on 6 May 1838[1]. He grew up in the village where he was born[2][3].
On 29 Mar 1861 he married Dinah Ellis at Holy Trinity, Hull, East Yorkshire, England[4]. They lived in Broomfleet[5]. George worked as a brickmaker[6]. They had eight children between 1861 and 1878.
His date of death is unknown. It is after the date of the 1891 England Census[7].
