Williamson-7435 and Williamson-692 appear to represent the same person because: The match is correct - and the naming convention is in the proper format.
Maiden name is displayed, and married name is displayed as 'current' name since it is the name the person had after marriage (just like a married woman's drivers license displays her current name), as they should be for researchers who may only have the married name to work with and make the proper connections.
Williamson-7435 and Williamson-692 do not represent the same person because: Every genealogy guidebook and web site says to enter women, just like men, with their BIRTH names, not one of possibly many MARRIED names. This person looks like a Williamson, but in fact has a last name of Stout. So until this error in format is corrected THEN I SAY NO TO THE MERGE!
Williamson-7435 and Williamson-692 appear to represent the same person because: I'm not sure who rejected it, but it is pretty clear this is the same person
Williamson-7435 and Williamson-692 do not represent the same person because: The last names do not match. One person looks like a Williamson (the birth name), but the last name is in fact listed as Stout (a married name). I do not like that a Williamson is listed as a Stout, and then this merge is to ruin other family trees with a wrong format of name. Treat women just like men please, list them by birth name as all genealogy books recommend, not by married name.
