Mary was born in 1759. She married Jesse Law on 1 December 1780 in Pittsylvania, Virginia and moved on to Kentucky, where all of their children except the oldest son were born. She passed away April 23, 1845 in Jefferson Co., Indiana. [1]
At the time of her death, she was living with her daughter Averilla and her son-in-law Francis Barnes.
There must have been an issue about Mary's (Polly) estate because through a series of sworn testimony it was legally established who her children were. Or possibly she died intestate. Text of document posted on Ancestry.com. Or it may have related to her husband Revolutionary War pension. Only a few pages of the original documents are posted.
Commonwealth of Kentucky, Trimble County, November Assizes (?) 1853
It was this day satisfactorily proven by the oaths of Anderson Law and Avale (?) Abbott that Polly Law widow of Jesse Law died in Jefferson County, Indiana on the 23rd April 1845, that she left five children being Elizabeth, Daniel Averilla, Sally, and Anderson, in testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal of office this 20th day of December 1853.

However, there are no known mtDNA test-takers in her direct maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Polly:
