New Zealand Herald 3rd March 1926 page 10 [3] A RAGLAN MYSTERY - LOCAL FARMER MISSING - HOUSE DESTROYED BY FIRE - SEARCH PROVES UNSUCCESSFUL - About a week ago, Mr. Arthur Willis, aged 53 years, disappeared from his farm at Raglan and he has not been heard of since. He was seen on Tuesday evening of last week when it was supposed that he was going fishing. The same night his house was destroyed by fire. A search of the ruins has since been made by the police but no trace of human remains was found. Search parties have since scoured the district, but there has been no sign of the missing man. Mr. Willis is a married man, his wife and family living at Koromatua.
