Lewis Byrd Willis[1] was born on March 27, 1885[2], in Orange County, the child ofWilliam Willis[3] and Nelly Conway Willis[4]. He married Lucy Richardson on June 19, 1918[5], in Orange, Virginia. He died on June 23, 1963, in his home town, and was buried in Graham Cemetery located in Orange, Virginia[6].
