Biography
George Soule Kendall Willoughby, a man "of great conviction" as he was known ! Was a descendant of mayflower passenger George Soule. A relation through his mother, and his fathers side he is a direct descendant of Massachusetts Royal governor Frances Willoughby aka “The Governor” and Frances father “The Colonel” William Willoughby. This relative has many Willoughby ancestors of both the mountains of Vermont’s Northeast kingdom and the beaches of MARTHAS VINEYARD MASSACHUSETTS "George-Soule" as he was known And that also being abbreviation of his long name of G. S. K. W.
George Soule was born about 1799. He passed away in 1850.
