Biography

Abigail Willoughby was the 6th surviving daughter of Sir Francis Willoughby of Wollaton, by his 1st wife, Elizabeth Littleton, daughter of Sir John Littleton by his wife Bridget Pakington.

Abigail, daughter of Francis Willoughby, was baptised on 23 Dec 1576 in Kingsbury, Warwickshire, England.[1]

After the death of her father, who had considerable debts, Abigail had to take action against her brother-in-law Percival Willoughby (who had inherited the debts) to protect her settlement.[2][3]
