Laney Willoughby was born on December 21, 1796, in Kentucky, the daughter of Sarah and Solomon. She married Noah Reavis on November 15, 1813, in Warren, Kentucky. They had eight children. She died on October 24, 1860, in St Louis, Missouri, at the age of 63, and was buried in Kirkwood, Missouri.

Laney was born about 1782.
She was the daughter of Solomon Willoughby and his wife Sarah Martha Clark, of Allen County, Kentucky. She was the wife of Noah Reavis whom she married on Nov. 15, 1813 in Warren Co., KY. She was buried on the Reavis farm. Her remains were disinterred from their original resting place on the Reavis Farm and reinterred at Oak Hill on Feb. 10, 1874, along with the remains of other family members with whom she was buried in that cemetery. The book also has "Note: Neuralgia of Heart, 63 yrs 11 mths 3 days. Removed from Reavis Farm" beside her entry.
