"Mrs. Ballew, widow of the late Barney Ballew, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hiram Crowley, in Boonslick twp Sunday night (May 22, 1910). She died of typhoid fever, aged about 72 years. She leaves two sons, Wm. and Robert Ballew, and two daughters, Mrs. Crowley and Mrs. Sanford Jones. Funeral at Boonsboro."
