This Apphia/Aphia could have been the Aphia Miller that signed the inventory related to Robert Miller of Back River, Elizabeth City, County, Virginia will around 1695. She maybe one of my (Jim Miller) relatives given Robert Miller likely was the son of John Miller of Elizabeth City Co., VA since John's will notes he had a son named Robert Miller.

Apphia Wilson MAY HAVE married a Miller (and then married Francis Rogers after the Miller she married first likely died). Aphia/Apphia Wilson then married a 3rd time to a Colonel George Newton (b-1678 Lower Norfolk Co. - 6/20/1762) and had 9 children with George.

William Wilson (Apphia Wilson's uncle) was an executor of James Miller's b-Abt. 1661 father's (John Miller) Elizabeth City County, VA will in 1689. About the same year, William Wilson was also involved with a will in Isle of Wight Co., VA with John Miller's of Elizabeth City Co., Va likely brother, Edward Miller.

Aphia Wilson could have married three times based on what I know to-date:

1. Married a Miller (possibly James Miller b- Abt. 1661; son of John Miller of Elizabeth City Co., VA) when she was 16 in 1694. If James Miller was her 1st husband, he would have been 10 to 20 years older than her. It is possible james Miller b- Abt. 1661 bought out his siblings when he was about 28 years old after his father's death in 1689/1690; since the will closing, notes all his siblings were paid their share and James Miller's name is not mentioned.

2. Married Francis Rogers on 10/15/1698 in Elizabeth City County, Virginia at around age 22.

3. Married George Newton, Jr. in 1706 at around age 30. She then had 10 children with George Newton and died about 1730 at around age 52.

The only issue is that her last child would have been born when she was about 51 (possible but not likely). However the birth years of the last 4 children born appear to be estimated. It is possible these children's birth years were a few years earlier than estimated; making her last child born when Apphia/Aphia was in her mid to late 40's (which is more likely to be possible).
