Mary was born in 1877 in Preston, Lancashire, England, the daughter of Jane Wilson a single woman, and she was christened on the 22nd April 1877 at St Thomas' Church, Preston, Lancashire. They were living in Brunswick Place, Preston, Lancashire.[2][3][4]
Mary Alice Wilson married William Lee Prince and the marriage was registered in the 4th quarter 1907 in Preston, Lancashire, England.[5]
Mary and her husband William's son Gilbert Prince was born in Preston, Lancashire, and his birth was registered there in the 1st quarter 1909.[6][7]
Mary died on the 29th May 1914 with her husband William and their son Gilbert, perished in the wreck of the 'Empress of Ireland' when it sank off Pointe-au-Père in the Saint-Laurent river, Québec, Canada.[8]
