Biography

Edith was born in 1877. She was the daughter of Jesse Wiltshire and Charlotte (Stiles) Wiltshire. Edith Maud's birth was registered in the Jul-Aug-Sep quarter of 1876 in the Devizes district.^[1] Edith Maud, child of Jesse Wiltshire and Charlotte Wiltshire, was baptised on 18 January 1885, along with many of her siblings, in Devizes, St Peter, Wiltshire, England.^[2]

In the 1881 census Edith (age 4), Scholar, was with her parents and 4 siblings at 88 New Park St, Devizes St Mary, Wiltshire, England.^[3] In the 1891 census Edith M (age 14) was with her parents and 8 siblings in Sidmouth Street, Devizes, St James, Wiltshire, England.^[4]

Edith Maud died on 30 July 1959 in Wiltshire, Wilts, England and her estate passed probate on 10 September 1959 in Winchester, Chester, England.^[5]
