RE: Dillingham-25, if the information is incorrect, perhaps you could add the correct information and the corresponding sources. I just "adopted" this profile as I am a descendant, also, and I'd love to see what information you have!
Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.
Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free-Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a Unresponsive Profile Managers for resolving those unfortunate situations.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page. Shayne ~ WikiTree Mentor
David: This is all I have found so-far 07-02-2014.
A look at the 1900 Census ( a photocopy of the original shows)
Samuel Talley-born in Virginia-he is in my line.
Mary E. Dillingham- shows born in Arkansas.
Cylda-born in Illinois.
Toy-born in Illinois.
Mamie-born in Illinois.
Amie-born in Illinois.
This data from 1900 census of South Fork, Mongomery County, Arkansas.
Some other data shows a brother to Mary Ellen named Prophet I. Dillingham. Could not confirm.
Rootswebworldconnect- shows that Mary's father was born in South Carolina., and her mother in Illinois. They did not have names for either. Could not confirm that.
Still trying to locate parents etc. of Mary Ellen.
Marion County, Illinois has a genealogy site that may help make a connection still on the job.

Have received your posts. Thanks for your interest in Wikitree and the families involved. A group of Talley familes born in Virginia moved to Illinois prior to the American Civil War. These folks were not in favor of the use of slave labor and slavery in general. I will check my notes and records and see if I can make a connection with Marion County, Illinois for the folks you have mentioned.

Thank you for your decision to contribute. WikiTreers have all sorts of skills, but one common interest - genealogy. I would recommend first looking around and become familiar with the various functions.
The main menu, located at the top right of the page, offers access to the most important features amongst them your Wiki-ID. In the help section »G2G« at the bottom, youll find the WikiTree online help. You can ask all sorts of questions, technical and others, and because WikiTree is worldwide, there is almost always someone online, who can give a qualified answer. Good luck! - And don't forget to sign the Honor Code. Pleasure to have you onboard.
I have been researching the Dillingham family worldwide for almost 30 years and am happy to assist all Dillingham researchers in any way. I have a very active Facebook group with over 1200 members :-)
