Biography

"Margaret Covert, aged 77(sic) years, widow of Maurice Covert, passed away yesterday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Sylvester Shultz, 1044 Poland Avenue. Heart trouble from which she had been suffering for some time is assigned as the cause of her death. Deceased was born in Portersville, Butler County, Pa., where she passed the greater part of her life and where she was perhaps more widely known. She came to Youngstown 18 years ago. Since that time she had made many friends in this city who will sincerely mourn her death. She was a member of the First Presbyterian church. There survive her three children as follows: Mrs. A. Ralston, Mrs. Elizabeth Shultz and Leander Covert. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the residence." --Youngstown Vindicator, 11 Apr 1905
