Biography
Graham was born in 1901. He was the son of Horace Wimsett and Sarah Devanny. [1] He married Hilda Janet Morris in 1923 [2] He passed away in 1938 age 36 [3]
LACERATED HEAD MAN'S CONDITION SERIOUS [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS association] WESTPORT, Sunday As the result of a motor-car collision, Mr. Rex. Wimsett was admitted to the Buller Hospital early yesterday morning suffering from a lacerated head and severe concussion. Mr. Wimsett, who was accompanied by his wife, was driving a motor-car which collided with one driven bv Mr. Owen Prince. The accident happening at the intersection of Peel and Wakefield Streets. Both cars were extensively damaged. Mrs. Wimsett escaped with a severe, shaking and slight shock, while Mr. Prince was uninjured. Mr. Wimsett's condition is reported to be dangerous. [4]

Graham Rex Wimsett, a wellknown Westport business man, who was injured in a collision between his car and another at 1 a.m. on New Year's Day, died in the Buller Hospital early this morning.
