Biography

Born to Peter Winebrenner and Sarah Weade. Named after Peter's brother who died in infancy. Married Rebeccah Strouse. They moved to Fort Wayne sometime after marriage. Had several children: unknown boy 1888, another in 1889, Joe B. 1890, unknown boy 1893, Beulah Marie 1894 (married George Craigshead), unknown boy 1900 (born and died 3-25-1900), Edna Pauline 1901 (married Howard Stephens). Died in Ft. Wayne, but buried at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Merriam, Noble, Ind. Allen county records give a death date of July 10, 1908; the tombstone says 1912 and his obituary says July 12, 1912. There is a record of him in the 1910 census.
