Catherine Jane (Winland) Doop was born on November 10, 1814, in Ohio, to John WInland and Catherine (Snyder) Winland.[1]
She married Joseph Doop on September 1, 1833, in Belmont, Ohio. The family lived in Grandview, Washington, Ohio until sometime between 1858 and 1860. [2] As of the 1860 census, they were living in Georgetown, Vermillion, Illinois. [3]
After the death of her husband, Catherine stayed in Vermillion with her youngest son and younger two daughters.[4] She continued living there with her daughter, Lucretia, and her family after Lucretia's marriage.[5]. She moved with them to Kansas sometime between 1800 and 1885. [1]
She died December 21, 1904, in Montgomery, Kansas.
