Edward Winslow, son of Edward Winslow and Sarah (Clark) Winslow, was born in Rochester, Plymouth County on November 6, 1703 or November 8, 1703.

Marriage 1

Edward married Hannah Winslow of Harwich on December 14, 1728.

Children:

Edward and Hannah had the following children, all born in Rochester:

  1. Edward, b. January 3, 1729, m. int. February 16, 1755 Eleanor Pierce
  2. Clark, b. August 8, 1731, d. Mary 19, 1732
  3. Sarah, b. March 23, 1732/3, m. int. February 3, 1752 Seth Pope of Dartmouth, d. August 20, 1775 in Rochester
  4. Enoch, b. October 6, 1735, m. int. May 21, 1761 Sarah Hammond
  5. Issac, b. April 19, 1738, d. May 10, 1790 in Rochester

  7. Bethiah, b. August 22, 1744, d. unmarried at an advanced age in Whitingham, Vermont

Edward's first wife, Hannah, died in Rochester on September (or December) 25, 1745.

The will of Edward Winslow of Rochester, gent. was dated and proved on He mentions his wife Hannah, and his children, Isaac, Benjamin (executor), Tisdale, Sarah Pope, decd., late wife of Seth Pope, Hannah, Rachel, Thankful, Mercy, Bethiah, his grandson David Winslow, Edward Winslow (son of his deceased son Edward), his granddaughter Eleanor, his grandchildren Noah, Sarah, and Hannah (children of his deceased son Enoch), and his daughter in law Sarah (wife of Enoch, decd), his granddaughter Hannah Pope. His inventory was taken on 2 June 1780 in Rochester.[1]
