Biography
Joseph Winslow, son of Joseph and Martha Winslow, was born 21 February 1695/6 in Salem, Essex, Massachusetts[1] His parents, Joseph Winslow and Martha Robison, married on May 14, 1695 in Salem.[2]
Joseph married Sara Day on 24 December 1719 in Gloucester, Essex, Massachusetts.[3]
Babson, in his history of Gloucester, provides a possible alternate confirmation of the marriage, apparently drawn from probate records, when he observes[4]:"He (John Day) may have lived nearly to 1742; when Joseph Winslow was administrator of the estate of a John Day, who appears to have been his father-in-law."
