Text: "Name: Seth Winslow; Event Type: Birth; Birth Date: 7 Mar 1698-1699; Birth Place: Plymouth, Massachusetts; Father Name: James Winslow; Mother Name: Mary Winslow". Nota bene: the calender year began on 25th March; thus, 7 March 1698 is actually 1699 according to our present-day reckoning. This is shown by the double year 1698/99. The calender change in England and Ireland took place on 2nd September 1752, making it the 14th of September (NS) rather than the 2nd (OS). It was only the following year 1st of Jan. 1753 that the year began on the 1st of January, rather than on the 25th of March. Scotland made the change in 1600. - Albertus

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Seth by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Seth:
At Gedmatch Geoff Oosterhoudt compared his autosomal DNA with that of Albertus Jung, lowering the cM threshold to 5 and the SNP threshold to 100. It was surprising to find one segment over 6 cMs, considering how far back the connexion is to Most Recent Common Ancestor Kenelm Winslow, the greatgrandfather of this profile's Seth Winslow.
