Personal recollection of the family

"My mother is Susan Ruth Winsor, born in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. She is the daughter of Byron Winsor, who is the son of Levi Winsor... Levi had four children, but one died very young. They were Bernard Winsor, Bruce Winsor, and Byron Winsor.

"... I spoke with my mother who said that the Levi we are descended from was the son of Eli. Levi had two wives, Gertrude was my grandfather's stepmother. Susanna Goulding was Levi's first wife and my grandfather's biological mother."[4]
