Biography
There appears to be much speculation surrounding Elizabeth Winston and whether said person even existed.
Research Notes
I removed Elizabeth wife of William Carr - there is not one wit of proof that she was a Winston.
There is NOT now - nor has there ever been - even the tinest thread or document that this person ever as a Winston existed - granted some of those listed as her children did exist.
William Carr who has never been identified by family record - does not belong to any known Tidewater Carr family.
He lived & died in Spotsylvania - twice married & died 1760 - his 2nd wife, Susannah Brooks married again to Lodovick O'Neal & she died in Fayette Co., Ky.
