Biography

Elizabeth was the daughter of George Winter of Dyrham, South Gloucestershire. She was the daughter of George Winter and his wife, Ann Brayne, who died in 1581 and 1594 respectively. [1][2]

She married Ferdinando Ivy on Oct. 6, 1572. [3][4]They had at least two sons, Sir George and William called "a captain in the Low Countries" by 1634. [5]

On 10 Nov 1585 she married Anthony Prator, gent. Their marriage took place at Dyrham, Gloucestershire. Anthony was the widower husband of Elizabeth's sister in law Judith Ivye.[6] Their marriage took place at Dyrham, Gloucestershire. It was noted in the parish register that Elizabeth was a widow and Anthony a gentleman.

Her son, Sir George, ca 1573-1639, married Oct. 3, 1591 to Susannah Hyde (d. 1638).

Winter-981 and Winter-342 appear to represent the same person because: Same husband and very little else known. It's an orphan without sources and should be merged away.
